교실소개

    
제주대학교 의학전문대학원 생리학교실에서는 심혈관계, 호흡기계, 신장비뇨기계, 내분비계, 근골격계, 신경계 등의 계통별 인체생리학 분야 및 최신 경향의 분자세포생리학 분야에 걸쳐 전반적인 의학교육을 담당한다. 주된 연구 분야는 신경생리학 분야로서, 마음과 정신이 인간이라는 만져질 수 있는 구체적 존재에 발현하기 위해서는 뇌 회로이건, 시냅스이건, 단백질이건간에 인체 내에서 물질의 매개를 통한 물질의 논리 즉, 생리적 기전을 통해 이루어지리라 보고 'from molecule to mind' 혹은 'from molecule to brain' 이라는 관점 하에 뇌의 신경생리학적 연구를 통하여 인간의 정신과 뇌의 작용 원리와 특성을 이해하고 그 올바른 운용과 질병을 치료할 수 있는 실마리를 찾는 것을 연구목표로 삼고 있다.
